Perfect time of day and light for this capture, Steve.

Artist's Description

It was that kind of a morning, dew forming on all sorts of things. I loved that it coated this spider's web in the way it did with the dewdrops. The name attached to this photo is in honor of an old Navy friend from the USS Ticonderoga, Roy Williams, who loved sneaking up (if Roy could sneak up) and giving one's ear a "Wet Willie". Miss that old dude, somewhere in Florida I think.

I am a former educator, having spent 40 years in Nebraska and Iowa as a teacher, counselor, and school psychologist. In 2006 I returned to my love of art and began shooting nature, landscape, wildlife, and weddings. I loved the midwestern states but have also enjoyed traveling across the US and international locations. Taking photos of the special visions I saw prompted many of these photos.
