When you drive through Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park with your window down, you often get a common fragrance. But this time it's much stronger, more pungent, and makes you gawk out the window at the sightly sage.
This photo was taken in Grand Teton NP in September; plants are turning from their deep green hue to a more sedate green and yellowing tint.

I am a former educator, having spent 40 years in Nebraska and Iowa as a teacher, counselor, and school psychologist. In 2006 I returned to my love of art and began shooting nature, landscape, wildlife, and weddings. I loved the midwestern states but have also enjoyed traveling across the US and international locations. Taking photos of the special visions I saw prompted many of these photos.
