On our last time through the Chobe National Park in Botswana, we came upon a pride of about 9 lions (1 male, the rest female and cubs). This female was not happy with the number of caravans (only about 3 or 4) approaching their resting spot. Still, she was the only one who seemed disturbed.
I am a former educator, having spent 40 years in Nebraska and Iowa as a teacher, counselor, and school psychologist. In 2006 I returned to my love of art and began shooting nature, landscape, wildlife, and weddings. I loved the midwestern states but have also enjoyed traveling across the US and international locations. Taking photos of the special visions I saw prompted many of these photos.
