Description
As the bus rolled into Denali National Park, the trees passed by, one-by-one, a thousand-by-a thousand. It wasn't long before we found some wildlife; it was a lynx prowling on the ground beneath the trees. What could it be stalking? We soon found out as we saw a bird diving and swooping around, then perching in the tree shown. It was a Northern Hawk Owl, an owl that operates during the daytime, swoops around like a hawk. And Hawk Owls are the prey for the lynx. It all fits together. And they are very rare, lucky us. The Park Ranger told us one hadn't been seen in the park for the past 4-5 years.
