Description

Took a short visit to DeSoto Bend State Park in southwestern Iowa/southeastern Nebraska. It is springtime, a time for starting a family. These two Canada geese are getting accustomed to each other and looking for a nesting area. Many geese migrate on through this area, some stop for a gander (gasp), and some stay for a while to bring the goslings into the world before moving on.
