It was the beginning of a light snowstorm. As I approached the railroad tracks, I reminded myself to look left and look right before heading across (ok, I stopped in the middle to get the photos). It was a lovely snow. Location: Southwestern Iowa.
I am a former educator, having spent 40 years in Nebraska and Iowa as a teacher, counselor, and school psychologist. In 2006 I returned to my love of art and began shooting nature, landscape, wildlife, and weddings. I loved the midwestern states but have also enjoyed traveling across the US and international locations. Taking photos of the special visions I saw prompted many of these photos.
