It was a beautiful day for taking photos. When I came across this beauty in the Teton Mountains just north of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I just had to stop and shoot it. I love how the grayish cloud just barely covered its peak, letting us guess if any climbers made it to the top! Would you climb this baby? Well, would you?

I am a former educator, having spent 40 years in Nebraska and Iowa as a teacher, counselor, and school psychologist. In 2006 I returned to my love of art and began shooting nature, landscape, wildlife, and weddings. I loved the midwestern states but have also enjoyed traveling across the US and international locations. Taking photos of the special visions I saw prompted many of these photos. You will see shots in Iowa, California, Montana, Wyoming in the US and shots from Italy, Greece, the Philippines, Great Britain, Germany and so on in this portfolio.
