This slow-moving fella (at least I think it's a fella!) was among the many tortoises we found on our first island jaunt in the Galapagos Islands. I know we found at least 50 in this certain area. This gent was not too keep on wiping his face after his dinner!
Galapagos tortoises were once endangered, but have made a comeback of sorts. This comebackis pretty much due to an old codger who has fathered about 40% of the current tortoise crew! Support the tortoises on Galapagos if you can.
